MY STORY.

I grew up in Cheshire absolutely obsessed with playing sport. Football for Everton, hockey for the North of England, playing out with the boys
at every chance I got. I studied Sport Business at university and then
did exactly that - I opened a sport business - I’m one of the lucky few
that get to make a living from their passion.

MY GYM.

My gym, Momentum Collective, opened in Warrington in July 2019 — a functional fitness facility full of weights, barbells, racks, rigs and ergs. All classes are coached sessions, and we open 7 days a week (including our now-famous Christmas Day morning) and are lucky to have a strong community of members getting strong, fit and healthy together.

This is the mantra of Momentum, and it’s what I work towards for myself and my members every day.  EVERYONE is welcome at our gym, no matter their starting point, their history, or their ability. What matters to us is that you show up and put in a shift.  No posing, no egos, just hard work and heart. All you have to do is walk through the door - we’ll take it from there.

COACHING & TRAINING.

Like many athletes, I fell in love with fitness when I discovered CrossFit ten years ago. Smashing out the heavy lifting, ring muscle-ups and handstand walks was my life for a long time - there’s no feeling quite like those WODs and competitions. However, my training and programming has evolved since then. I’ve kept all the good things I love, like heavy barbell work, swinging around on the rig and high intensity metabolic conditioning, but I’ve added in a stronger bodybuilding element that is kinder to our bodies and also aims to get us JACKED.

The goal with my programming?
To help all of my members get stronger, live longer, and look good naked.

MY LIFE.

Training & coaching aside, the rest of my life is also pretty sweet. I live and work with my partner Nat, and love being Bonus Mum to our two kids, Sullivan (13) & Ida (9). When I’m not gym-owning, training or coaching, I’m generally eating, camping, hiking, snowboarding, or being in bed for 8pm.
